Dan is a seasoned litigator and trial lawyer with more than 20 years of experience.
Mold Lawyer. Dan Nichols is a top “mold injury” lawyer in the Pacific Northwest and regularly represents injured tenants in claims against landlords. Along with his partner, Adam Heder, Dan has obtained some of the largest mold injury case settlements in the Northwest.
Discovery Class Counsel. Dan represents consumers in class actions, including customers of large corporations and victims of Ponzi schemes. Dan’s class action practice focuses on finding the data and documents. Several federal and state courts have appointed him to serve as discovery counsel in large class actions.
Outside the Office. For the past nine years, Dan has taught Civil Discovery at Lewis & Clark Law School. For more than a decade, he has lectured on the topic of civil discovery at numerous professional conferences. He previously served as Chair of Oregon’s Uniform Civil Jury Instruction committee, and he currently serves on the Oregon Advisory Committee on Civil Justice – Discovery Working Group. Dan is an active member of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association.
Dan plays music and enjoys volunteering at multiple churches. He is an avid Scouter, having served as Scoutmaster and merit badge counselor.
