Profile

Ann is a premier transactional attorney with a focused practice in business transactions and estate planning. She began her law career as a Judicial Extern for the District of Oregon Federal Court and as a Judicial Clerk for Clackamas County Court. Ann’s prior experience as an in house counsel for a helicopter company, who performed lift operations all over the world, provides her with a practical understanding of complex business issues such as U.S. export and import regulations, employment law, compliance and policy issues, management of insurance and risk assessment for businesses, and contract drafting and review. Over the years, Ann has continued to hone her training and expertise in import and export law, corporate compliance, and estate planning.

Ann is dedicated to serving her clients and helping them prepare for the future with the goal to ensure that an individual’s wishes are honored and that their estate is handled efficiently, minimizing taxes and legal complications as well as incorporating succession planning for business owners. Effective estate planning helps ensure that an individual’s assets are distributed according to their wishes, reduces potential conflicts among heirs, and provides financial and medical guidance in case of incapacity.

Ann believes a comprehensive approach is essential to a robust estate plan. She believes collaborating with estate planning professionals, such as attorneys, financial advisors, and accountants, is the best way to create a comprehensive plan that complies with legal requirements and aligns with the personal goals of her clients.

Outside the office, Ann enjoys traveling, attending sporting events, boating, snow skiing, and spending time with her husband and five children.
